What is single trip travel insurance?

A Single trip policy is designed for U.K. residents. The age limits are upto 74 years for single trip, (upto 65 for winter sports and upto 74 for hazardous sports). It provides insurance cover for one-off trips abroad or in the U.K. When booking you will need to enter the start and end date of your holiday and cover will apply between these dates. We offer cover for individuals, couples who co-habit, families and single parents. Cancellation cover for your holiday will start immediately. If you travel more than once throughout the year it might be worth investing in our Annual Multi Trip policy.

All travel must start and end in the United Kingdom.

Ages

In order to obtain an accurate quote you need to enter the number of people in each age group. It is the age that you are now, not the age at departure of your holiday. Your quote will not be affected if your age changes from one category to the next in the period between booking your insurance and travelling.

Baggage Cover

If your household insurance covers your personal belongings while you are away you can opt to delete this on your travel insurance. If not, select our baggage option which provides cover for your personal items if they are lost or stolen.

Wintersports

You must select the Winter Sports option to ensure you will be fully covered for accidents and emergencies on the slopes.
This option is only designed for U.K. residents up to the age of 65 (at time of booking)
